MultiSense Controllers
Our unique
MultiSense range of foam control systems
allows for the control of both liquid and foam, or just liquid, or just foam
using one sensor. The sensor uses an array of micro-sensors, each of which is
able to measure the material next to it. This allows very high accuracy and
enables a number of separate parameters to be measured at the same time. The
micro-sensors also act together in an array to give more information on the
material and to detect interfaces between phases in the material, e.g. liquid
and foam or different liquids. To interpret the information from the sensor we
have designed a solid state controller unique to the MultiSense
range.

MultiSense Controller:- The controller energises the
sensor and processes the data. The controller includes measurement modules that
can drive up to 8 sensors. The number of measurement modules is limited purely
by the physical size of the controller to house the modules. The controller
calculates the volume of liquid from the height and the internal diamenter of
the vessel. Although the control panel is shown as an integral part of the
controller it may be located remotely from the controller by means of a special
cable. This allows the panel to be fitted into a customers existing cabinet in
a control room or other part of the plant. For security the controller can be
password protected. |
